This interpretive Fiber Fine Art work is in progress and shaped by inspiration drawn from Scythian culture and the Pazyryk felt carpet, one of the earliest surviving examples of fiber based visual expression that later influenced what we recognise today within contemporary Fine Art. The original piece, created around 2300 years ago in the Altai Mountains of the Eurasian Steppe, is preserved in the State Hermitage Museum.
The work follows continuing study of archaeological research and visual documentation in publicly opened resources, with respect for the cultural and historical significance of the ancient artifact. Using natural materials, handmade tools guided by traditional ideas, and inherited and acquired techniques consistent with early practices, the project aims to stay close to the visual language and structure of the original while presenting a contemporary interpretation. Upon completion, it will be framed in custom handmade exotic wood to ensure safe display, preservation, and visual coherence in a gallery setting.

Aurelia is a name that feels like the soft glow of golden moonlight, casting a gentle yet mysterious radiance. With its Latin origins, meaning โgoldenโ or โgolden-haired,โ it embodies an elegance and femininity that seems both timeless and ethereal. It evokes warmth and brilliance, but with a shadowed allure, as if the light itself holds secrets. Dark theme adds a layer of intrigue, a sense of mystery woven through its beauty. Aurelia is a name that suggests both luxury and grace, with an enigmatic glow that captivates like the moonlight dancing among the stars.- Wild Raw and Hand Dyed Silk, Merino Wool
